Words can't really sum up my feelings of love and appreciation for what Deva and Miten have done for my life. I have been a fulltime musician, singer, and songwriter for most of my life
(I am now 42) and I have enjoyed meditation for many years as well.
I had always felt that I would love to incorporate music into my meditations, but never come up with something that really worked.
Then I heard Deva sing and that was it! I had now discovered the power of mantras. After seeing Deva and Miten play in Brisbane (twice,) I was blessed to attend a retreat/workshop at Lennox Head with them. Their energy (and everyone's energy) was so beautiful and uplifting I felt my soul soaring. They were even kind enough to let me play some keyboards and jam with them (an experience I will always hold dear to my heart,)
It was this entire experience that gave me the little kick I needed to start up my own regular weekly satsangs here in Brisbane. Through Deva & Miten's Forum on their website I managed to talk to someone who told me of the perfect venue to hold a regular satsang (my little 1 bedroom flat was just too small.)
We now get together every Monday evening at a beautiful location (the College of Mind, Body, Spirit at Forest Lake.)
It overlooks a lake and the energy there is so warm and inviting. I play my keyboards and use a small PA and the acoustics are wonderful. The love I feel from everyone there is so overwhelming at times I could cry.
I have also incorporated mantras into my healings as well, with some amazing results. I love the new direction my musical life has taken (my whole life for that matter,) and it all came together because of two people (two friends) - Deva and Miten. They are like two stars from the heavens shining their light onto everyone around the planet. Thank you, thank you, thank you Deva and Miten, for all the beauty you have brought into my world.
