| Dear Friends, Deva & Miten with Manose will launch their 2011 tour of Europe with a special appearance at Deepak Chopra's event in Munich on April 30. This is followed by concerts in Lausanne, London, Antwerp, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Tallinn, St Petersburg, Moscow, Hannover, Almere, San Sebastian, Cologne, Frankfurt, Nuremberg, and Munich. We are delighted to announce that Deva's enchanting new CD Password will be available at the concerts! The Tantra~Mantra retreat with Deva, Miten and Rafia in Corfu is full now and booking is waiting list only.  Deva, Miten and Manose have been hard at work, creating their latest release, Password. It will be available only at concerts during DP&M's European tour, and will be launched worldwide this September. It marks an exciting new direction in their unique blending of East and West, embedding the extraordinary energy carried by ancient mantras into a rich fusion of sound and silence.They recorded the album at the end of 2010, coming off the road and directly into the studio in Copenhagen, Denmark - carrying with them new compositions and all the energy of a year filled with love and inspiration. The result is extra-ordinary... this time around, Deva's golden voice, guided by The Essence producer, RajRishi, glides across a landscape created by some of the best young jazz musicians in Scandinavia.  July 3-8, 2011 and July 17-22, 2011Join Deva, Miten & Manose for a six day vacation offering a joyful and loving rejuvenation of Spirit. Two hour morning sessions of Ecstatic Chant offer a deep immersion into the healing world of mantras, songs & circle dances. After the communal lunch there is time to explore the ancient island of Corfu, and enjoy the pristine Ionian Sea. | MESSAGE FROM MITEN | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
 Friends - we have heard through the grapevine that some same-sex couples are of the impression that they are not welcome at our events. This misunderstanding makes me very sad, and I want to dispel this myth immediately.I think it has arisen due to our Tantra~Mantra For Couples events. The reason we invite hetero-couples only for this program has nothing to do with any kind of prejudice - it is simply that our Tantra teacher, Rafia, who leads the group with us, has had no direct experience with same sex Tantric relationships, and therefore feels it would be inappropriate for him to attempt to guide people into a process in which he himself has no experience. That's all! Every other event of ours is absolutely open....and who knows, there may come a time in the future, when we will be able to invite same sex couples to a Tantric retreat – we are actually working on it! In the meantime, to all same-sex couples, remember the Tantra~Mantra group is one week long. That leaves 51 weeks of the year where the opportunity to come together in the yoga of sacred song and chant is readily available. We hope you will sing & celebrate with us at our concerts, and join us for In The Light of Love retreats in Costa Rica or Corfu. These gatherings focus directly on the joy of discovering oneness and harmony within ourselves and with others, through singing, meditation, and celebration. As the song goes – all is welcome here. I do hope this is clear. If anyone has any questions, please don't hesitate to drop us a line. As for the rest – Deva, Manose, and I are so much looking forward to seeing you all again as the year unfolds. Our year began with concerts in Australia and has led us to the sunny shores of Costa Rica, at the amazing Blue Spirit Retreat Center, where we will return for two events in 2012 (second half of March). Watch out for that. We are doing our best to visit as many of you as possible - check the schedule! Until we meet again, we send love, life and laughter to you all. | Tribute to Japan: Deva & Miten were in Australia working on a remix of the song In The Light of Love when the earthquake and tsunami happened in Japan. Later Miten put images to the music "in an attempt to portray the elevation of the human spirit in times of such overwhelming and inconceivable destruction. It is our tribute to the brave hearts of the Japanese people." You can find this powerful new video here.
