2010-May-European Tour Kicks Off: Findhorn Community, Scotland
our first concert of the european tour was in the highlands of scotland at the very special findhorn spiritual community
the beautiful universal hall where our concert was held

a self sufficient community

...and we were blessed with glorious spring weather...which inspired manose and his camera...

we took a tour of the campus...

...and met dorothy, a founder member of the community - now 90 and still going strong!

peter vallance, our findhorn host and organiser, spreading his wings

sue clutterbuck, our guide, showing us the amazing nature sanctuary

meeting new friends on the way...

some of the houses on campus

this house is known as the ‘barrel house’ - made from the huge barrels used originally to distill whiskey

community members and friends gather in the universal hall for the concert

this must be the first kilt at a dp&m concert

we received a warm and loving welcome

...and were inspired...

the scottish humour was infectious

we shared a celebration of song, joy and life

after-concert - budding bansuri wallahs

...just a small piece of bamboo...!

we couldn’t have wished for better weather!
we left findhorn with promises to return, and headed for my old friends ron and jayne lawrence – who built their home 30 years ago, with their bare hands (no joke).
ron played bass guitar in the great jazz/funk band ‘moon’ from london, in the 70’s and played on all my old records.
like me, he realized there was more to life than rock ‘n' roll and sailed his houseboat from london to scotland, never to return.
and who can blame him!
now he and jayne own a few small holiday cottages – we recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet holiday retreat, in the highlands near the famous loch ness

Dear Deva and Miten
I just wanted to thank you so much for the most wonderful and beautiful experience of your music live at Findhorn. I have been listening and working with your music and mantras for about 3 years now. I play it as additional healing when working with my clients doing many different massage and holistic therapies and also I teach Reiki.
But the most profound experience I have had is in the healing for myself. My son Jonathan died in a road accident 2 years ago last week and my daughter was injured in the accident and is still recovering. I played your wonderful sounds for many many weeks constantly after my son went spirit side and I feel it has helped our family and home in a very healing. way. Can I also say thank you Deva for your wonderful Hug at the end of the concert and my apologies for crying all over you!
Namaste
Dear Deva, Miten and Manose,
I went to your concert in Findhorn last night. My sister and brother in law have seen you in Paris and talked about the amazing concert. I had Deva's music and listened to it a lot especially the Gayatri, which reminds me of India.
By complete chance, I heard you were coming to Findhorn and decided to go and see you. Now I understand what my sister was trying to tell me. Thank you for the music, tears of joy kept running on my face and at times, you 3 and us all in the audience formed a whole. Today all I have needed was sun and peace.
I would like to thank you for a wonderful evening at Findhorn, it was fantastic. Please come back again. Lots of Love Shirley xxx
I was at your Findhorn concert last night; never having heard of you before, but someone invited me to go with them, and I was so glad I did!
Thank you so much for your beautiful music; but not only that, the sacredness with which you played, the love which you were willing to share with us, the way you invited us, the audience, into your hearts. I felt well and truly fed, nourished, opened and loved.
PLEASE COME BACK HERE!
Hi Both,
Namaste. Loved your show at Findhorn and feel so refreshed and cleansed although the next day everything seemed to go wrong - really odd that.
I wondered if it is possible to get hold the track where I think a Tibetan Monk spoke - I would so like to hear that again or at least get the words? I was a Tibetan Buddhist monk at the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery at Samye Ling for a while and met His Holiness the Dalai Lama too - unforgettable presence!
I bought my first Deva Premal: 'Love is Space' so long ago and so often turned to your music for calm and reflection - never thought to hear you live. It was a real blessing.
Wishing you both Every Fulfillment on your paths.
Kindest Regards
