Join us for a feast of music and shamanic wisdom in the Sacred Valley in Peru, with an optional visit to Machu Picchu.
We will take part in shamanic ceremonies at ancient ceremonial sites and temples in the clouds. We begin everyday with morning yoga and an expedition to ancient temples where we take part in ceremonies with the Andean shamans.
In the early evening, we immerse ourselves in the healing world of mantras and sacred songs, exploring sound, silence and meditation. In this healing environment, we bathe in a joyful, inspirational, and loving rejuvenation of the spirit.
Our lodging is at the Aranwa Hotel located in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The Sacred Valley produces an idyllic year-round climate with abundant sunshine and fresh air.
Marcela Lobos has been initiated in the healing and spiritual traditions of the Amazon and the Andes. She was born and raised in Chile where she leads expeditions, working with women shamans that belong to a matriarchal society that still holds the wisdom and passion of Mother Earth. She is senior staff member at the Four Winds Society and is married to its founder, Alberto Villoldo. Together they travel throughout the United States and Europe teaching the wisdom of the Medicine Wheel.
Alberto Villoldo, PhD has spent over 20 years studying with the shamans in the jungles and high mountains of the Andes. He is a best-selling author and founder of the Institute of Energy Medicine and the Four Winds Society. In his teachings, he explores the Shamanic understanding that we are more than flesh and bone – we are fashioned of Spirit and light. This unending Luminous Energy Field exists in every cell of our bodies. It is up to us to recognize and work with this gift to change the very nature of our way of living.
