A Festival of Light
Friends – the Gayatri Mantra is an ancient prayer dedicated to the Light that dwells within us all. In this spirit we have created ‘The Gayatri Gathering’ – a celebration of communal participation.
Days feature morning sessions of Ecstatic Chant, where we take a deep dive into the Gayatri in the form of music, mantra, meditation, and communal sacred song.
Time is precious and the schedule allows for plenty of it, to bathe in the glorious ocean waves, take beach walks while making new friends and re-connecting to our life’s true purpose as we go (not to mention tasting the delicious vegetarian cuisine).
Osho’s meditations will be available during afternoon sessions, and in the evenings we gather again for ecstatic chant, preparing for restful sleep, guided by the mantra OM.
In this healing environment, we open to a rejuvenation of the spirit.
What do we take home with us?
“..My experience of the festival was that it was amazing, something which will always stay with me – on the first day I cried healing tears, and over the course of the week I felt my heart opening more and more. It was profound, and your sound is so beautiful and the space you created for us was just perfect…”
The Gayatri nourishes the soul, giving us the inspiration to go forward in our lives with a renewed sense of awareness, compassion, and humour, inspired by this ancient blessing. We all know how easy it is to slide into the shadows of loneliness and isolation. The Gayatri Gathering is here for us all, to re-ignite the bliss of our original Buddha Nature.
So – as the song goes:
“…Bring your laughter, bring your tears, your busy lives and your careers, and bring the pain you’ve carried for years. All is welcome here.”
With love, Deva & Miten
